Respite Caregiver- Private Family (2019- Present)

Provide one-on-one respite care for Cobey Thomas, a young man with severe nonverbal autism.
My role involves assisting with daily activities, communication, and emotional regulation while fostering a safe, supportive, and structured environment.
Through years of caregiving, I’ve learned profound patience, empathy, and adaptability, qualities that directly shape how I interact with patients in dental care.
This experience has become one of the most meaningful parts of my life, teaching me that compassion is both a skill and a calling.
